Program Philosophy

The central object of study are the dance and the ways it is brought to life before an audience. A very inclusive department that integrates itself into the liberal arts experience and encourages participation of nonmajors as well as majors in all dance classes. Emphasizes learning by doing, integrating theory and practice, concert productions and choreography. They produce two dance concerts annually.
