Program Philosophy

The CSU Dance Program is committed to presenting dance for participation and viewing; it strives to make accessible varied curriculum, performances, workshops, and master classes to the CSU student and the general public.

Degrees Offered: B.A. in Dance (2 tracks: Dance in Community or Creative Process & Performance); Dance minor

Faculty: 2 full-time, 7 part-time Academic Facilities: 2 studios, classrooms, black box lab theater

Production Facilities: Allen Theater performance spaces at Playhouse Square

Productions: Spring and Fall dance concert with CSU Dance Company, faculty and Guest artists, and Fall with GroundWorks Dance Theater

Location: NE Ohio

Enrollment: 18,000; In department: 300 participants, 16 majors, 28 minors

Annual Tuition: $10,300 resident

Annual Room and Board: $8,710

Department Financial Aid: partial and full scholarships
